Three things now. Change anything later.
This runs on your subscription.
After you create your account you'll connect where it runs — your own computer
or a cloud machine we run for you — and your sign-in stays on that machine.

Configure My AI

Configure My AI is a layer between you and the AI, not another AI
Configure My AI doesn't replace or compete with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok. It sits in the
middle: your chats, files, bots, settings and code live here, and whichever AI you point it at
does the thinking. Switch providers whenever you like — nothing you built moves.
Hit a limit? When one plan's daily cap or rate limit lands, switch to another and carry on in the same chat, with the same memory.
Prices or quality change? Swap the model under an assistant; its prompt, rules and history stay exactly as they were.
A better model launches? Use it the same afternoon, on every assistant, without rebuilding anything.

Same app, whichever way you connect
The three tabs on the wizard decide who pays for the AI and how it is reached — nothing else.
Chats, files, bots, code sessions and skills work identically on all three, and so does sharing
on Pro, the plan that includes it. You can mix them: one assistant on our credits, another on
your Claude plan.
1Pick a provider and a model
2Name your assistant
3Create your account — done
Use ours
The fastest start. Pick any provider on the first tab and it runs on Configure My AI's own
connection — no keys, no accounts anywhere else, nothing to install. Usage draws on the
credits included with your plan, and you can add credits or move an assistant to your own
key or subscription later without losing anything.
Best for: trying things, small teams, anyone who doesn't want to manage vendor accounts.
1Create a key in the vendor's console
2Paste it — stored encrypted, sent only to that vendor
3The vendor bills you per token, we never mark it up
Use your API key
Already have an API account with an AI company? Connect it and pay them directly - or skip that
and use ours. API keys work with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Mistral, Cohere and DeepSeek, or
your own OpenAI-compatible endpoint, and the wizard links you to the right console for each one.
A ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro subscription is not an API key and can't be pasted in — that's the next tab. Best for: heavy use, your own billing and rate limits, custom or self-hosted models.

Use your subscription
Already paying for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Grok or Gemini? Those plans come with a command-line
tool, and Configure My AI can drive it through a free helper you install on your own computer —
never on a machine we host. Pick the tool on the third tab, then name your assistant and set its
prompt, rules and model exactly as you would for any other provider. Usage counts against that
plan's limits, not your credits.
💻Your computerInstall a small companion on a Mac or Linux machine. Free — it's your hardware. Works while it's on.
☁️Cloud machines we runFor your own assistants, jobs and code sessions. Subscriptions aren't signed in here — those stay on your computer.
Then connect where it runs
A subscription needs your own computer signed into it, so that part comes right after your
account is created: install the free helper on a Mac or Linux machine you own. Your vendor
sign-in stays on that machine — Configure My AI never holds it, and it never runs on a machine
we host — and that machine shows up as a provider on every chat, bot and code session
automatically.
