Configure My AI for desktop

Your AI, in its own window. On Mac, Windows, or the command line.

The desktop app is Configure My AI with a real menu bar, remembered windows and in-app updates — everything your account already does, the moment it ships. Prefer the terminal? The local CLI runs Configure My AI work on your own machine.

Configure My AI for Mac

macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later. Direct download — no App Store account needed.

Not sure which? Apple menu → About This Mac — a chip that starts with “Apple M” is Apple Silicon; “Intel” means Intel.

  1. Open the download

    Double-click the .dmg in your Downloads folder.

  2. Drag to Applications

    Drop Configure My AI onto the Applications folder.

  3. Open it and sign in

    Everything is already there — your assistants, your chats, all of it. Same account, new window.

    First launch: if macOS blocks the app, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, find the note about “Configure My AI,” and click Open Anyway — once only. If it says the app is “damaged,” open Terminal and run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Configure My AI.app", then open it normally.

Configure My AI for Windows

Windows 10 or later. A per-user installer — no admin rights needed.

Download for Windows Windows on ARM

Most PCs are x64. Choose ARM only for an Arm-based PC (e.g. Surface Pro X, Snapdragon laptops).

  1. Run the installer

    Open the .exe from your Downloads. It installs for your user — no admin prompt.

  2. Launch and sign in

    Open Configure My AI from the Start menu or the desktop shortcut, and sign in.

    First launch: if Windows SmartScreen warns because the installer isn’t signed yet, click More info → Run anyway — once only. This goes away once the installer is code-signed.

It asks once, you say yes, it's done. New things show up the day they're ready.

Nothing new to trust

It is the same site in its own window. Same sign-in, same security. Links to anywhere else open in your normal browser.
