Embed Widgets

Add configuration dashboards to your own websites with embeddable widgets. View stats, manage settings, and access chats without leaving your application.

What are Embed Widgets?

Embed widgets are iframe-based dashboards that you can add to any website. They provide:

  • Configuration overview and statistics
  • Access to existing chat conversations (read-only)
  • Endpoint list with usage information
  • Settings editor for quick updates
  • Link to open the full app

Enabling Embed

  1. Open your configuration's detail page
  2. Scroll to the "Embed Widget" section
  3. Click Enable to activate embedding
  4. Copy the embed code that appears

Embed Code

The embed code is a simple iframe tag:

Customizing Dimensions

Adjust the width and height attributes to fit your layout:

  • Width: 100% (responsive), 400px, 500px, 600px, 800px
  • Height: 400px, 500px, 600px, 700px, 800px

Embed Features

Overview Tab

Shows statistics and configuration details:

  • Chat session count
  • Endpoint count
  • API calls
  • Tokens used
  • Model and provider info

Chats Tab

Lists existing chat conversations:

  • Chat titles and message counts
  • Click to view conversation (read-only)
  • Link to continue in full app

Read-only chats

For security, embedded chat views are read-only. Users cannot send new messages through the embed. A link is provided to open the full app for continued conversations.

Endpoints Tab

Shows endpoint information:

  • Endpoint names and paths
  • Active status
  • Call counts
  • Token requirements

Settings Tab

Allows editing configuration settings:

  • Name and description
  • System prompt
  • Rules and restrictions
  • Training data
  • Temperature and max tokens
  • Active status toggle

Security

Embed Token

Each configuration has a unique embed token. This token is used in the embed URL and provides access to the widget without requiring user authentication.

Treat embed tokens as sensitive

Anyone with the embed URL can view the configuration details and edit settings. Only embed on trusted, access-controlled pages.

Regenerating the Token

If an embed token is compromised:

  1. Open the configuration's detail page
  2. In the Embed Widget section, click Regenerate Token
  3. Update your embed code with the new URL

The old embed URL will immediately stop working.

Disabling Embed

To prevent all access via embed:

  1. Open the configuration's detail page
  2. In the Embed Widget section, click Disable

Existing embeds will show an error message until re-enabled.
